Whether you want a one-time engagement to open an important meeting, a workshop, a Lunch & Learn, or a multi-week series, Haven works with diverse organizations, companies, and departments within corporations to improve employee engagement and emotional intelligence, and the overall culture or working environment.

When these are improved, employee retention and employee morale go up, and stress levels and healthcare costs go down.

Haven believes prioritizing well-being through mindfulness and meditation helps improve focus and productivity, creativity and decision-making which increases team member engagement, improves emotional intelligence, and helps employees adjust quickly in fast-changing environments, which all contribute to a culture of trust, safety, and joy.

Speaking about and teaching mindfulness and meditation, Haven works with each corporate client to customize their program to meet the individual needs and goals for that specific group.

If the group is focused on wellness, they will see a reduction in stress levels, absenteeism, and health care costs. But they also see a rise in team member engagement and productivity.

If the primary goals are to improve team engagement, delegation, and morale, they will experience an increase focus, productivity, teamwork, and happiness as well as a decrease in stress levels and absenteeism and an increase in employee retention.

So, in effect, practicing Mindful Meditation positively affects every area of a person’s work and life.

Ask yourself, what challenges does your organization face?

  • Focus and productivity
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Healthcare cost
  • Stress/Well-being
  • Happiness and employee retention
  • Empathy and emotional intelligence

And what are the consequences of not addressing these issues?

  • Status quo
  • Decreasing focus and productivity
  • Mistakes, accidents, revenue/profit loss
  • Bad decisions
  • Increasing healthcare costs
  • Increasing absenteeism, lost productivity
  • Increasing employee turnover and costs
  • Increased stress

Haven’s Mindfulness and Meditation Programs can address and help overcome all of these issues and challenges.

Background

When well-being is prioritized, individuals and teams experience less stress and burnout, happier work environments which lead to increased employee retention, empathy/EQ, focus, resiliency, productivity, creativity, and better decision-making.

Unfortunately, 54% of US workers say they are closer to burnout than they were 5 years (Gallup, 2018) and Harvard Medical School reported 5 years ago that 96% of senior leaders felt burnt out every day. Not good news… Globally it’s worse, 87% of workers are disengaged due to overwhelm and stress.

Half the time we are at work, our minds are somewhere else – 47% of the time, we are not paying attention and 64% of the websites visited while at work have nothing to do with work.

Mindfulness through meditation allows you to relax the body and calm the mind. It only takes a few moments in stillness for spaciousness, clarity and focus to be established. Priorities become clear and productivity improves. Innovation and decision-making follow suit. And at work there is a lot less stress, fewer absences, and less lost days.

When mindfulness and meditation programs are part of corporate/work life, the work environment becomes more team-oriented and happier, more trust develops, more work is delegated and teams feel more engaged and invested. Employee retention increases and costs go down.

Using mindfulness and meditation practices, conflict management or conflict evolution practices among all team members improve as empathy grows and the ability to release the need to be right but to do what is best for the team, project, and/or business is embraced. Everyone’s EQ rises.
